ALPHA 11
The ALPHA11 vest is an adaptation of the classic ALPHA1 vest so that it can be worn as an over cover vest with ceramic plates. Plate pockets can be top or side opening. Cordura, Nylon and heavy duty webbing straps are used to make the vest harder wearing. These vests can be Made-to-Measure. Shoulder pads are optional for added comfort.

SOFT ARMOUR
National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard 0101.04 is the internationally accepted standard for Bullet Resistant Vests. The Standard has 4 levels applicable to soft armour as shown in the table below.
Maximum trauma allowed is 44mm, to be measured on the first strike only. The Shot pattern for handgun ammunition requires all shots to be at least 7.6cm from any edge and at least 5cm from each other. |
